Start Here - Important Handshake Account Information

Some (but not all) of DMACC’s career fairs this year are being managed through Handshake, our free online career network. Students, grads, and employers wishing to register for a career fair managed through Handshake need to create free Handshake accounts prior to registering to attend. Please follow the instructions below to create your account:

  • Students - Start here: Enter your DMACC email address, then follow the instructions to verify your email and fill out your profile
  • Grads - Start here: Enter your personal email address, then follow the instructions to verify your email and fill out your profile
  • Employers - Start here: Follow these instructions to create an account and connect to an existing company profile or create a new one.

Once you have set-up your Handshake account, use the links below to register for your desired event(s) on Handshake. Please contact DMACC Career Services at careers@dmacc.edu with questions or concerns related your Handshake account.

Volunteer Fair – Thu. September 10th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. – Bldg. 5, Ankeny Campus

Diesel Career Fair – Wed. September 16th, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., – Bldg. 14, Ankeny Campus

Agribusiness & Horticulture Career Fair – Mon. September 28th from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. – FFA Enrichment Center, Ankeny Campus

Engineering & Manufacturing Career Fair – Tue. September 29th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. – Bldg. 5, Ankeny Campus

  • Targeted Programs: Advanced Manufacturing Tech, CAD Tech, Electronics Engineering Tech, Engineering Transfer, Industrial Tech, Robotics & Control Systems, Tool & Die, Welding
  • Employers: Register on Handshake Registration opens Aug. 14th at 7:00 a.m. CDT
  • Employer Open House: Employers are invited to attend an open house in Building 3W between 1pm-4pm after the career fair. Stop by to tour our facilities and learn about recent changes to DMACC’s Industrial Technology and Robotics & Control Systems programs that could help your company upskill current employees. Business & IT Internship Fair – Wed. September 30th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. – Bldg. 5, Ankeny Campus

  • Targeted Programs: Accounting, AI, Business Administration, Business Transfer, Computer Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, Hospitality Management, Insurance, Network Administration, Network Technology, Marketing, Supply Chain Management

Registration for Spring 2027 events will open December 4th at 7:00 a.m. CST.
